From the phenomenal Fettercairn Distillery comes this elegant eight year old single malt! Matured in a single cask, this splendid Highlander was selected by the folks at indie bottler Douglas Laing, hand-filling a total of 432 delightfully decorative ceramic decanters for its Premier Barrel series.
Tasting Note
- Nose Creamy vanilla and soft stone fruits, malt biscuits, gently floral with some sweet tangy citrus.
- Palate Floral honey, peaches, and apricot with more fragrant vanilla notes cushioning delicate oak spice.
- Finish Orchard fruits continue, with honeysuckle and roasted barley, ending with a pinch of pepper and warming ginger.
