The 2018 vintage experienced reduced yields following spring frost, followed by warm, dry conditions and an extended ripening period into autumn. This allowed the fruit to reach full flavour maturity while retaining balance and structure. The wine was matured for 15 months in a combination of seasoned and new French oak barrels to support complexity without dominating the fruit.
